With more than 25 years of drug development experience, Katie McCarthy serves as Halloran’s Chief Innovation Officer and heads the company’s growth division. She leads Halloran’s service portfolio, ensuring the company stays ahead of industry trends and evolving client needs to drive new relationships, partnerships, and sources of revenue. Prior to her current role, Katie built and led Halloran’s consulting business and practices (Clinical, Regulatory, Strategy & Program Leadership, Organizational & Quality Solutions), focusing on the development of assets and portfolios to optimize life science organizations. Katie functions as an on-demand COO or Head of Development, directs clinical development portfolios, advises on corporate strategic planning, provides recommendations to ease the challenges of drug development, and helps clients think through more innovative approaches to improve human health. Her industry expertise includes various roles across Program & Alliance Management, Clinical Development & Operations, and Organizational Effectiveness. Katie started her career in academic clinical research conducting neuropsychological testing and served as a study coordinator for clinical trials.
